What is the keto diet?
The ketogenic diet is a very low-carbohydrate, moderate-protein, higher-fat way of eating. By keeping net carbs low (often 20 to 50 grams a day), the body shifts toward burning fat and producing ketones for fuel. It is an eating pattern, not a medical treatment, and it is not right for everyone.
