What is the difference between keto and low-carb?

Low-carb is a broad term for eating fewer carbs than usual, often 50 to 150 grams a day. Keto is a stricter version, typically under 50 grams of net carbs, designed to put the body into ketosis. Both are valid ways to eat; keto is more restrictive.
