Berries with Vanilla Whipped Cream

When berries are in season, you do not need a recipe. A bowl of fresh berries with real whipped cream, lightly sweetened with vanilla, is as good as dessert gets.

Nutrition per serving (estimated)

4.7gNet carbs
2gProtein
22gFat
228Calories

Method

  1. Whip the cream with the sweetener and vanilla in a chilled bowl until soft peaks form.
  2. Divide the berries among glasses and top with whipped cream and mint.

Chef’s notes

  • Chill the bowl and beaters for the fluffiest cream.
  • Use frozen berries in winter; thaw them first.
